Tariq Ali has written more than two-dozen books on world history and politics, the most recent of which are Winston Churchill: His Times, His Crimes (2022), The Clash of Fundamentalisms and The Obama Syndrome (2010). He has also authored novels and scripts for the stage and screen. Ali is a long-standing member of the editorial committee of New Left Review and lives in London.
